We Are Family

Life Sanctuary Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, Spirit-led church with a vision to impact nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to glorify God through anointed praise and worship, ministry of the Word through powerful teaching, passionate prayer, a lifestyle of holiness and genuine fellowship. Life Sanctuary Church was birthed as part of a house fellowship which began as a small Bible study group in Liverpool, Sydney. Our fellowship grew in numbers and the need to start the church became a dire necessity; consequently, the fellowship was officially established as a church on December 6, 2009. Our church is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge His Lordship in all we say and do as members of His universal Church.

We are a family-oriented church with a missionary heart and are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship and worship. We seek to be compassionate yet biblically sound, as liberal as the love of God and as inclusive as the great invitation of God to man, “Whosoever will let him come unto Jesus.” LSC currently has a bilingual service on Sundays. The bilingual, English and Malayalam, service caters to the Indian community with the worship songs in different languages such as English, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.

Our Core Values

Prayer

Prayer is our spiritual lifeline. Individually and corporately, at home, at church services, in small groups and in all venues we rely upon communication with our God, the Father

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Christ-Centred Leadership

Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, and our church leaders and individual members utterly depend on Him. Jesus Himself set the ultimate example of servant leadership and Christian leaders must lead through service and focus on Jesus. Apart from Him we can do nothing

John 15:18

Bible-Centred Teaching

The Word of God is the core of our teaching. Sermons at church, Connect groups and small group bible studies must equip members to know, understand and apply scripture in their daily lives, and continually point to Jesus Christ, in whom we find salvation

2 Timothy 3:15-17

Inspiring Worship

We strive to make our worship services opportunities to lift up our hearts to God, to express our love to Him and to hear His Word proclaimed. We celebrate our relationship with God, and we value variety in worship and music. We seek to have worship services which are uplifting experiences in His presence

Psalm 100:1-3

Fellowship

Fellowship and meaningful, loving relationships with God and with our fellow believers are essential. We believe in accepting, caring for, serving and spending time with one another. We value input from everyone and consider friendliness and fellowship to be the hallmarks of our congregation
